This festival runs August 7-10. There's a big opening night party and screening at the Egyptian theatre. Part of the opening night group of films will be the short film "X", directed by Josh Brolin. This film also screened at AFI Dallas 08 where we had our premiere.
"Parts" will be screening in competition on Sunday August 10 at 4:40pm-7:05pm as part of The HollyShorts Show Program #6.

Some of the other films screening in competition include two of my favorites that we screened with in other festivals. Lance Larson's "Bloom" which will absolutely break your heart and Elle Martini's "Person, Place, or Thing" which has one of my favorite scenes that I have seen on the festival circuit this year.

Our premiere screening and it was in the hometown where we shot the film. Screened to a full house in early April at the Magnolia Theatre
May 1-5 in Marfa, Texas. A great get away trip and a great film crowd.
